Q: What is Craftin Paradise?A: Craftin Paradise was once the home of Busy Bees Daycare and today it is a Day Retreat that provides the space for crafters to rent for the day (currently no over night stay). Q: Where are you locatedA: St. Cloud, Minnesota near the Westwood School area and the Joe Faber Field; home of the St. Cloud River Bats. Q: What time is check-in and check-out?A: Check-in time is 8 am and check-out is 11 pm. Q: Sleeping accommodations?A: Craftin Paradise is currently a day retreat only, but would like to have sleeping accommodations in the future. Q: Do you have wireless internet service?A: Craftin Paradise offers a computer to use with internet access. You can also log onto the wireless internet with your laptop. Q: How do I make a reservation?A: First, check the on-line calendar for availability. If you find any dates that you are interested in please contact Craftin Paradise by email at craftinparadise@gmail.com or call 320-293-1686. Q: What is the payment/deposit?A: an advance payment equal to 50% of the rent rate is required 30 days before arrival. The advance payment will be applied toward the daily rate. Please make payments in the form of money order, cash, or checks payable to Carol Brinkman and mailed to 1063 County Road 134 St. Cloud, MN 56303. The BALANCE is due upon your arrival date. Q: What is the cancellation policy?A: You are eligible for a full refund of all money paid if the reservation is cancelled 14 days prior to the scheduled date. Cancellation of your retreat less then 14 days will result in your deposit being forfeited (unless a replacement group is found). If a replacement group is found, your deposit will be applied to a future retreat date. Q: What about parking?A: Craftin Paradise’s driveway is U shaped with plenty of parking with no street parking. Q: Can I book a Friday or Saturday?A: Yes! Craftin Paradise is a Day Retreat and if you want to book only a Saturday you can at the rate of $240 for 16 crafters. Q: What if I don’t have a group of 16 crafters?A: You can always come with fewer guests, but the rental rate remains the same. You can use the message board to find more crafters to join your group. Q: What is the 8 crafter’s special?A: Two groups of 8 can book on the same weekend. Weekend special for Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. The eight crafter’s special is a weekend group rate for 8 only, but another group of 8 can book on the same weekend. The space is all yours if another group of 8 does not book. Q: What do you have for music?A: Craftin Paradise has an iPod dock with a radio system. Q: What crafts stores do you have?A: The biggest craft store: Craft’s Direct Q: Do we have to clean before we leave?A: We only ask that you gather up the garbage and run the dishwasher. Q: What kind of printer does Craftin Paradise have?A: Craftin Paradise’s supplies are a black and white 12 x 12 printer. You can purchase a colored cartage for your group if you would like to use color. Q: What about food?A: Craftin Paradise supplies you with condiments and utensils to create your meals.
